HALIFAX, April 24, 2018 /CNW/ - The Atlantic Journalism Awards (AJAs) will host a full day of journalism education and celebration on April 28, 2018 at the Halifax Marriot Harbourfront Hotel.
In the morning, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM a series of professional development workshops will precede a panel on the future of journalism in Atlantic Canada featuring voices of the journalism community. Attendees are invited to bring questions for the panel. Admission includes lunch and refreshment break. Registration is $40.00 and includes lunch and break refreshments. Students are $20.00.
The AJAs gala dinner and awards show will take place in the evening, doors open at 6 PM. This year, the launch of the AJAs Hall of Fame will highlight journalists and builders from the region who have left a lasting impact on the industry. Gala dinner and awards show tickets are $135.00.
