HALIFAX, Oct. 11, 2012 /CNW/ - The Atlantic Journalism Awards is encouraging journalists to save their 2012 stories and images for entry into the AJAs competition.  The on line entry system for submissions will open on December 1, 2012. The automated entry method allows journalist to submit their stories and images completely from their computer.  The entry deadline is February 2, 2013.  Category definitions and judge's guidelines are available for viewing at  www.AJAs.ca.

The AJAs gala dinner and awards ceremony will be held at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel on Saturday, May 11, 2013.  Tickets for the event will go on sale in early February.
