AJAs Seeks Lifetime Achiever

HALIFAX, Jan. 22 /CNW/ - The Atlantic Journalism Awards is seeking nominations for its new Lifetime Achievement Award. Nominations for an individual or news organization who has demonstrated a lifetime of achievement to journalism excellence in Atlantic Canada, can be submitted up to the postmarked closing date of Friday, January 29, 2010.

Nominations for this award can be submitted by anyone to the AJAs. A letter highlighting why the individual or news organization should be honoured with the award, in addition to other supporting material, should be included with the nomination.

The award will be presented at a gala dinner and awards show on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel in Halifax, NS.
