HALIFAX, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - The Atlantic Journalism awards has released their Call For Entries poster, which details the entry deadline and awards information for this years AJAs.

The web based poster can be found at www.AJAs.ca and editors, news directors and journalists are encouraged to download and print the poster and post it in their newsroom or email it to colleagues.

The deadline for entries is Friday January 29, 2010 for news items and images from the 2009 news year. The AJAs has also announced several new categories which are described on their website under Category Definitions. They include; Online News Reporting, Business Reporting, Best Page Presentation, Community Reporting and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Also new on the website are the Judges Guidelines, so entrants can view what judges are asked to consider in the judging process.
