HALIFAX, March 28 /CNW/ - Tickets for the 26th Atlantic Journalism Awards
are now on sale. The gala event is being held Saturday evening, May 12, 2007
at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.
    The event will honour 79 of the best journalists in Atlantic Canada with
the presentation of twenty-five gold awards to the best stories of 2006.
Distinguished political specialist and Ottawa editor of CTV News Net,
Mike Duffy, will be the guest speaker for the evening. The event will be
hosted by Norma Lee Macleod, Host of CBC News at Six and Jack Romanelli,
Editor In Chief of the Halifax Daily News.
