ICI Radio-Canada Acadie Joins AJAs

HALIFAX, March 3, 2015 /CNW/ - ICI Radio-Canada Acadie has joined the Atlantic Journalism Awards as a Media Partner. The Atlantic Journalism Awards enters its 34th year of celebrating the region's best journalism.

ICI Radio-Canada Acadie headquarters out of Moncton, with stations in Halifax and Charlottetown, bureaus in St. John's and Fredericton, as well as in 7 other locations across Atlantic Canada.  A multiple past winner at the AJAs, ICI Radio-Canada Acadie was most recently recognized at last year's AJAs as a finalist in numerous categories, taking home gold awards in the categories of Videojournalist and Best Television Newscast.

The call for submissions for the 2014th news items ended on Monday, February 2, 2015. Entries are now being reviewed by an independent panel of expert judges from across Canada. Finalists will be announced in early April.

The continued support of Media Partners Brunswick News, CBC Atlantic, Global Maritimes, NewCap Inc., Newzulu Canada, Stirling Communications International, TCMedia and The Chronicle Herald makes the Atlantic Journalism Awards possible.
