AJAs Entries Grow

HALIFAX, March 20, 2013 /CNW/ - The Atlantic Journalism Awards has announced a near record number of entries for the 2012 news year competition.  Close to 400 entries were received in the 28 print, radio, TV and on line news categories.  Feature writing print received the most entries by far with 58 separate items entered. 

Panels of judges from across Canada are reviewing the entries and will select three finalists in each category. The finalists will be announced in early April, and the gold and silver awards will be presented at a gala dinner and awards show on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.
