HALIFAX, March 1 /CNW/ - The Atlantic Journalism Awards 30^th annual dinner and gala awards event is approaching. Tickets are now available to be purchased through the AJAs website: www.ajas.ca

Atlantic Canadian journalists were asked to submit their best work of 2010 published in a newspaper, magazine, TV, webpage, or radio broadcast. Entries were made through the AJAs new online entry system, receiving a record breaking 424 entries spread across 29 categories. On May 7, 2011 at the Halifax Marriott Hotel the best of 2010 journalism will be celebrated.

Tickets are $135 per person or $1,350 for a table of ten. To purchase tickets for this years AJAs please visit our website www.ajas.ca. Professional development workshops will also be held May 7^th.
