Freedom of Information Panel Open to Public

    HALIFAX, April 29 /CNW/ - A Freedom of Information Panel (FOI) will take
place on Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at the Nova Scotia Community College
Waterfront Campus in Dartmouth.
    The moderator for the panel is former broadcaster Yvonne Colbert, and the
following experts will provide their advice regarding FOI.

    Darce Fardy, President, Right to Know Coalition of NS
    Peter Haggert, Editor, The Daily Gleaner
    Doug Keefe, Retired Deputy Minister, NS Dept. of Justice
    Linden MacIntyre, Co-Host, the fifth estate, CBC News
    Jacques Poitras, NB Affairs Reporter, CBC Radio.

    The Atlantic Journalism Awards, in partnership with CNW Group encourages
anyone interested to learn more about FOI to attend.
